The purpose of these changes is to ensure a good working environment, sufficient recovery for assistants, and that the organization complies with applicable legislation and collective agreements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The requirement of at least 11 consecutive hours of daily rest per 24-hour period has been a main rule in the EU Working Time Directive (2003\/88\/EC) since 2003. Following criticism from the EU in 2021, previous Swedish exemptions have been reviewed and tightened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The collective agreement for personal assistance has therefore been updated with new provisions that will come into effect at the turn of the year 2025\/2026. It is very important that these rules are followed, both for the working environment and to ensure that Vitkl\u00f6ver Assistans complies with applicable requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Main rule<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>At least 11 consecutive hours of daily rest per 24-hour period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exceptions and planned solutions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>From 1 January 2026, an MBL negotiation is required when introducing or changing exemptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"rubrik_punktlista\">Shortest daily rest: 9 hours<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>May be combined with work shifts of up to 15 hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compensation is provided immediately after the shift or in connection with the next rest period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"rubrik_punktlista\">Work shifts of 15\u201320 hours including on-call duty<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least 5 hours of on-call duty between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rest equivalent to the length of the work shift after the shift.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"rubrik_punktlista\">Work shifts of 20\u201324 hours including on-call duty<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only if necessary to meet the client\u2019s needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rest equivalent to the length of the work shift after the shift.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"rubrik_punktlista\">Work shifts of 15\u201320 hours without on-call duty<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Requires a local agreement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rest equivalent to twice the length of the work shift.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"rubrik_punktlista\">Work shifts of 20\u201324 hours without on-call duty<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The trade union party may reject the schedule.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rest equivalent to twice the length of the work shift.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Purpose<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The purpose is to ensure the assistant\u2019s working environment and recovery while continuing to meet the client\u2019s needs.<br>If you have any questions about how the rules affect schedules or working hours, please contact your operations manager.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nya arbetstidsregler Information om nya arbetstidsregler Fr\u00e5n och med den 1 januari 2026 b\u00f6rjar nya regler om dygnsvila och arbetspassens l\u00e4ngd att g\u00e4lla inom Vitkl\u00f6ver Assistans.
